2:1 in favour of Nigeria as the Nigerian super falcons got a very important goal just before the end of the game to make it to the finals not a very impressive performance to be frank I think that this coach is really lacking in tactics because it was clear that the south Africans had a better control of the game, Nigeria will wait for the second semi final match between host Morocco and Ghana
I don’t think there’s any need to blame the coach, the South African side has always been a strong opponent against the Super Falcons and they’re also a very strong side when it comes to women National teams in Africa. .
Considering the way the victory came, the only logical conclusion we can make is that it is our time to make it to the finals and nothing more. Both team played really well to the extra time of the second half and if not for that magical pass from Alozie right from the defense line to the front line, it would have been really deficult for us and the game might have gone straight into a penalty shootout which would have placed us at a 50/50 spot.
There's no reason to blame the south African coach for not being tactical enough. If you're trying to be too tactical in a game as this, you might up spoiling things for your team in the process. The super falcons are not an easy opponent that setting up a strategy against them can just work that way. It takes a lot of effort and pushing before you can get at them. This time,.it's just there moment to get to the finals and hopefully, something good will come out of that finals.
