It's getting more interesting, as Man City is back in the hunt for new players in this transfer window. They are currently targeting Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa, whose current market value is around €40,000 million, but Man City is reportedly bold and has submitted an offer of around €60 million. Diogo Costa is Portugal's mainstay goalkeeper, and his performance so far has been very promising and strong, making several crucial saves. And his height of 1.86 m is also quite helpful. Now, we are waiting to see how they are able to win the negotiation.

Good move for City, it looks like they want to create competition in goalkeeper position for Ederson next season. Ederson has been making silly mistakes lately and it appears he has fallen out of favor with Pep Guardiola. I think it will be interesting if they can get Diogo Costa at least that will give Ederson competition and make him improve his game.

Manchester City need a goalkeeper since last two seasons and they decided not to sign another goalkeeper since they have Ederson and Ortega but with their performance Manchester City had decided to sign another goalkeeper and in their top is Diogo Costa, I think Costa will be a good option for Manchester City with his experience and penalty shootout experience, Costa is still young to be in Manchester City for more than 3 seasons which shows that he is capable of helping Manchester City for many reasons.

There are many goalkeepers that Manchester City can sign but they are not going for them, Lunin of Real Madrid is a goalkeeper that is very good and led Real Madrid to win 2023/2024 Champions League title and he is very good and also a young player, I was surprised by not seeing any big teams coming for him to sign him, Manchester City needs goalkeeper and if they failed to sign any goalkeeper next season is going to be tough for them.
