It's understandable Barcelona wants Rashford to add more depth on their LW position, but the decision to sign him is not wise.
They have no choice other than get rid one player from their squad to decrease their wage gap.
Barcelona doesn’t think that way when it comes to finances. I remember when their financial problems worsened, and that was the time when Xavi joined the team, and they handled it quite well. There were agreements with some players that their salaries would be paid a bit later. So if Barcelona needs a new player, they don’t look at it from the perspective of not having money. They find a way to sign him and then deal with their financial issues during the season. They’ve been in this kind of situation for several seasons now, so I think they know how to handle it.
