I expected Dhruv Jurel to be included in the playing XI, but the selectors had other ideas and included Anshul Kamboj instead. And given the fact that bowling was the weakest point for India, it makes sense. For this match, India has included four pacers: Shardul Thakur, Anshul Kamboj, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah, on top of spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. My concern here is that it may make their batting really weak. Also, Sai Sudarshan is playing just his second test match.
I don't have any confidence in this Indian XI against England. Their bowling line-up in particular still looks quite weak. Anshul Kamboj is a new face for me in international cricket. I haven't seen him bat or bowl yet. Although I have confidence in the Indian bowling line-up because of Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah. I think Akash Deep would have been better in place of Shardul Thakur and Dhruv Jurel would have been a good option in place of Anshul Kamboj. I think Shardul Thakur and Anshul Kamboj will leak some runs. Their batting line-up might still remain the same.
