The support from Manchester United's management has always been very strong. Especially remember the times under Ten Hag, when they bought a huge number of players and basically rebuilt the entire team, but it didn’t bring the expected results, which is why he was sacked. With Amorim, things are a bit different he’s only just now, in the summer, starting to buy some players. But I agree that this is not enough to really change anything in the team.
Manchester United spent a lot of money but they failed to use big transfer budget for getting firstly good players and more importantly players who can match with their available players and improve their weakness. It has been happening in many years and Ruben Amorim is a newest head coach is given transfer budget and a task of doing this squad improvements better than previous head coaches in the club.
Is one summer enough for Ruben Amorim?
I am unsure and he probably needs more than one summer transfer season but to be given more time, he will need to show good management and performances with his players in a coming season. Too bad results, no improvements will result in a sack unavoidably.
