In my opinion, playing poker or blackjack is a very competitive human activity. I play these card games a little myself, but of course I don’t consider myself a professional player. I’m just an amateur. There are many arguments why you shouldn’t become a professional player. ⛳
First of all, as I wrote above, poker and jackpot are very competitive human activities. So the question arises: why become a professional poker player if you can, for example, become a highly qualified IT specialist and earn a lot of money at the same time? In my opinion, professional poker players have a completely different motivation for the game than just money. Usually, these people are both brilliant mathematicians and passionate researchers of human psychology. They just really like playing poker. In addition, such people are usually very cold-blooded and ambitious. If you do not have these human qualities, skills and abilities, then, in my opinion, you should forget about the idea of becoming a professional poker player (or any other similar card game). 🥋
Secondly, you need to understand that to succeed in poker, you need to play for money with weak players, and for training - with strong ones. Choosing the "right gaming table" is the key to successful play. 🃏
Thirdly, as in any sport (and poker can be compared to chess), successful poker play is possible only at a relatively young age. If you are already old, then you can (for example) be a successful teacher at the university, but in old age you will not be able to beat other poker players, simply because with age, cognitive abilities of people decline. An elderly person can have a lot of knowledge and skills, but he will not be able to react as quickly as a young one. That is, it is impossible to be a professional poker player and count on a long career. When you're older, you'll still have to do something else (some other kind of human activity).🧑🦳
