Good day to all. I am probably like many others, an enthusiast in search of the forgotten (for example, BTC wallets). In general, I have the ability to write code, check everything related to BTC, completely locally. But I am desperate and do not know where to go, and do not want to waste 10 years of my life on meaningless actions. Yes, I understand that many community members (the majority) are unlikely to share truly effective methods, but I will still try, maybe you know real methods? (thanks in advance). p.s. a small clarification - methods for searching for old wallets or at least something really effective, related to dust.
OP, if I get your point clear here, you are probably looking for an old wallet to test your capabilities and see if you can be able to do something with your skills, right?
There is an ongoing campaign, which I think might be okay for you to try your capabilities and see how it goes, but that does not mean you should not look into other sources of livelihood. Try other things as well while you remain in the crypto space.
Here is the link to the ongoing campaign:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5549171.20 Well, I'm talking about a slightly different direction, not about my wallet, but, so to speak, about searching for forgotten ones. Well, it looks interesting, thank you, but this is rather a slightly different thing - the private key most likely has other assets (except bitcoins) - having thrown them the key, they will take possession of them, there is no guarantee that they even have this money 2,000,000) + a newbie, if an old one vouched for them, it would be cool, but this smells of a common scam, I quote them: "This is not a dispute. We are not hackers looking for a vulnerability. We are the owners of a fundamental vulnerability. Simply put: we literally hold the bitcoin registry on a leash. Every P2PKH key, every balance that you think you own is just an entry in a database to which we have root access." Well, do you yourself believe that there is some kind of fictitious database in the P2P system? The guys just know how to handle texts and formulations - as I personally think) They will never openly declare such real things, it is at least stupid.
