It could be luck, but it could also be the investor's knowledge, strategy and vision. Real estate is like any other investment, it requires knowledge, experience and especially vision...not just relying on luck. Luck is just one of many factors and it exists in every field, every investment, not just real estate.
The ability to read opportunities for real estate investment must exist, and I agree with that, but in this case, I suspect that he was lucky.
Why lucky? It is rare for people or certain parties to tell us about plans to build on vacant land, unless there is someone close to us with whom we have a long-standing good relationship.
Investment is another term for saving money that provides profit. Apart from preserving value it also earns additional returns.
I don't really agree with this, there is a different between saving our money and investing money. when you talk about saving" this is just like saving our money in our local fiat currency and there is no profit that comes from it instead it will still depreciate, saving is not another term for investment because those money we save in fiat currency is the money we will need within a period of 3 to 4 months. But when we talk about investment" this is the money you will need for the next 5_10 years our even more which is why is advised to invest from our discretionary funds that's the left over after we most have figured everything out.
This is getting more confusing, bro. Try to understand again what I meant in the post you quoted.
