LA Clippers have a really solid roster this season, and I’m hopeful about their chances this year.
If Kawhi Leonard can stay healthy throughout the season, they can accomplish great things, he truly makes a difference when he's on the court.
The Western side is packed with strong teams this year, so we’ll see how the standings shape up by the end of the season.

Yes, the Clippers' management has done a good job this offseason, and now their roster looks promising. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers show good results in the upcoming regular season and finish in the top 3 of the Western Conference standings.

Top 3? With a roster this old? Nah I don't believe it. They can be lucky if those aging stars will playing like 40-50 games this season, and that doesn't even include games that they are all playing together.
I don't see them better as OKC, Dallas, Minnesota, Denver at minimum, maybe also Houston. So nah, I don't think they are a top 3 team. Maybe 5-7 years ago they would be, but not now.
I have no problem with the roster being old. The problem that I'm seeing is the fact that aside from their age, they're also injury prone.

Kawhi might've been healthier last season compared to 2 seasons ago, but there's still this "what if" if we're talking about him. It's also the same with Harden, and Beal on the other hand only played 53 game in his last year with the Suns because of injury. Paul played all 82 games last season though which is a good sign, but their key players are injury-prone as well. Age and injury are for me the reason why I don't also see them as a top 3 team in a stacked Western Conference.

I would rather pick OKC, Denver, and Houston at those top 3 spots as they have a much better roster than the Clippers. The Lakers have become better now as well. Yes, the Clippers got some good acquisitions as well like Lopez, Paul, and Beal, but I don't think that they can compete with the likes of the top 3 teams that I said. Let's see though. Remember that Indiana surprised everybody when they clinched the NBA Finals. Something that only a few expected that to happen. Smiley
