That is the biggest issue when teams or clubs decide to buy players because of their name and not because of their quality and type of game and how it fits into the team. That was one of the problems PSG was fighting with for a very long time when the most important attribute was a high price and a big name. But then they had these three players namely Mbappe, Neymar and Messi and while it was fun to watch them play sometimes, you could see that they were not the perfect combination of players to play against more carefully chosen squads.

that's what mijatović said, if real madrid hoards big-name players with huge market values, it could be counterproductive. too many star players can cause problems, such as ego, roles, etc. and because of that, xabi alonso needs to find a solution to this problem so that vini and mbappe can get their best positions and show their best performance, or else this will affect real madrid's front line.

Well said. Individual stars are tempting but just accumulating the stars won't make you a team. Every part of the team and a coordination between them is most important than having star players. Real Madrid last season was a example of such disaster. It was already a Spanish and European champion and it further bought large names. Even I claimed that Real Madrid are the champions even without Mbappe and no one could beat them with Mbappe but I was very wrong. Real Madrid was a good team but not as impressive as the last season. A team with less stars but more balanced team, Barcelona took the Spanish League while Real Madrid was also defeated early in European Champions league. A defender, midfielder are as important as the forward and more important is they be in a natural state of sync with each other.
