Why is it that alcohol ads are everywhere and they are easily bought in stores nationwide with only a warning of only drinking moderately and yet gambling is not allowed to be the same?
They are everywhere to protect the alcohol manufacturers themselves from any legal action should say a bad accident happen because of alcohol abuse and they don't want to take responsibility for irresponsible drinkers...aka Negligence isn't an excuse.
In roads, there are ads of alcohol. Where funnily enough is you shouldn't drink in. While driving. But still there are big ads and multiple ones in roads about alcohol and the warning that says Drink Responsibly. Does that one warning make it safer?
It's not really about safety, look at it as companies playing safe and avoiding paying any monies out should you sue them #Legal_Sheild
Btw, gambling companies do this too as its their responsibility and due care to protect its companies.
So what makes it ok for alcohol ads to continue in public but not gambling?
Btw, this also boarders around how these industries are regulated in a country and also revenue contribution via tax...so not as straightforward as it looks.
