Also the namt IMF is not what they should be called, they supposed to be called IFF which mean International Fiat Funds. And the dominant fiat is United States dollars.
This is exactly why I know bitcoin will never be a global currency like most people think. Bitcoin becoming a global currency or legal tender in countries will make the demand for the dollar drop, and that will mean the dollar will lose its value. That is something the US will not allow, so they will fight it with every institution they have.
El Salvador is a small country, and their adoption of bitcoin might not be that significant in the grand scheme of things, but if they allow it and they become successful, other countries will follow, and that can be a problem. Hence, they need to stop them now.
