The Indian women's team has made a big total in the first innings of the third ODI match against the England women's team and I think it will be very difficult for the England women's team to win by chasing this target. We can see that the England women's team has already lost 2 wickets for 13 runs in 5 overs. If the Indian women's team can quickly take more wickets from the England women's team, then the chances of the Indian women's team winning this match will increase a lot.
Since the England women's team has lost two wickets in the first 5 overs, we can understand from their batting that the England team is currently under good batting pressure. If the England women's team is to come out of this batting pressure, they will definitely have to make a big partnership. If England can score 100 plus runs for the third wicket, then it will be easier for the batsmen who come to play on the wicket later to take the innings further.
The match was in very interesting situation. Even though the Indian team made a massive 318 runs but still it does not mean that they will be able to win it comfortably. It was still not confirmed till the last moments that India will win this match as England were batting very well. At one stage they have already made 166 runs and lost only two wickets.
I must say that Emma Lamb and Nat Sciver-Brunt were playing a match-winning innings. I hoped that Nat Sciver could complete her century but she was out on 98 runs only. England Women lost this match by just 13 runs.
England had a chance to win at one point. But they definitely made some mistakes. Which should not have been done according to the conditions of the match. Sophia Dunkley was run out I could not accept this outing in the match. The team was in a good condition at that time but after her wicket fell I was not optimistic there. Although they chased well in the end but did not win. Sophia Dunkley was able to score 34 runs. If she could have stayed on the pitch little longer then the chances of winning the match would have increased a lot. England lost the match by a small margin but the match was definitely great for India. They were able to put England under pressure and take all the wickets in the end.
