India is doing so well. The bookmakers aren't considering India as a hot favourite yet. Now the odds is 2.60× for India to win and 3.20× for England to win. I expect India to win this test match. It is too early to predict the outcome, but India might win the match if they don't lose anymore wickets today and play good in the first two sessions of day two. Rishabh Pant has gotten some injuries there, I expect him to be fit within day 2. The condition of the pitch seems batting friendly, draw is the most possible outcome now for this reason.
It may not be said that India's batsmen are doing very well but they are batting relatively well and almost all the batsmen are cautious in scoring runs. But they needed to bat for longer but are losing their wickets regularly although the run rate is still in good shape. So far they have scored 264 runs for the loss of four wickets and the third session is underway. If England bowlers can take more wickets in between then they might be able to stop India first innings for a low score. Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur are still running well and both of them are batting at a similar pace. If they can continue playing for longer then it will be easier to score big runs as the lower order players will not be able to bat as strongly.
