Getting flogged by Flamengo U21 a few days ago was just a prelude of what is to come. Xhaka knows Leverkusen is finished with ETH at the club, and that's why he wants out before it's too late. Another thing is that he's not fighting to move to a bigger club, as most players would do. He's fighting to go to Sunderland, which Leverkusen is obviously bigger than. That tells me he's desperate about leaving and does not want to stick around when the ship starts sinking.
Loi, it's now I'm getting to know of this about Xhaka wanting to bail out from Leverkusen. I have always thought about this, and wondered how and why Leverkusen lost to some kids by that kind of disgraceful margin. For me, I still think Ten Hang isn't the right man for Bayern Leverkusen, his supposed to be coaching some team from Romania, Estonia or maybe back to the Netherlands and not a top European club team. Even his statement after the defeat against Flamengo U20 boys was also disgraceful.
