keep in mind that gambling is also illegal in south korea. so my point is, everyone eventually finds a way.
You are absolutely correct that is the real truth about it. However, sometimes I used to wonder whether those government are doing the right thing, noing fully well that humans are always humans. Though, there is no how banning gambling in a country would easily work for everybody, it is quite obvious that gamblers would definitely going to look for a way to manover. Because even till now there are countries who is against Bitcoin and other things, but even as that people are still doing it in a coded way.
Banning gambling will lead to the popularity of illegal gambling platforms. Gamblers will always seek means to satisfy their craving for gambling. The use of VPN and other anonymity tools is common in such countries. But banning gambling will help to reduce the rate of new gamblers since there will be less advertising. And when gambling is not promoted it will not reach a large part of the population.
It always happens that when the government implements something unacceptable to the community, people will find a way to keep doing it. When gambling is banned, illegal casinos/games rise. No matter how strict the government is, people will still have a way to do it. That is why I think that banning gambling is not the real solution, but rather having proper and fair rules is. The government should let people enjoy their lives rather than limiting them. Gambling becomes bad only when a gambler abuses it. But if we just gamble responsibly, that would really be fine.
