Takashi Tashiro being paid in bitcoin is not a big statement nor does it carry any important message. This is simply the company's financial strategy to strengthen shareholders' confidence in the company.

Remixpoint is just a mid-sized company in Japan with a market capitalization of around $500 million and is not a company with a large reputation or influence. Most of us were unaware of them until this news spread in the crypto community. So I don't think they're big enough and influential enough to convey any message or create a domino effect.
To build confidence? That makes sense anyway. That is very important in the company. However, this action made by the CEO is not just an ordinary thing that gains reputation and trust from stakeholders, but also draws attention to the community and other companies that Bitcoin is going to be another big trend in the future. It won't replace fiat money, and it gives an option.

They are just a small company, but they can influence others to do the same. And honestly, we need this kind of mindset to keep bitcoin adoption growing fast and sustainably.
