In Pearl of Africa T20I Series, today 8 th game of this series was concluded successfully between UAE team and Kenya team. Kenya won toss and they got a chance to choose fielding and batting first and Kenya chose batting first. Kenya batted very poor and made small target only 98 runs in 20 overs by losing all wickets. Pushkar effort was very good form Kenya team but unfortunately other batsmen showed worst struggle and poor help. UAE team chased down all runs and won game by big margin 7 wickets and 37 balls. Zohaib batted very well in start of line and scored 35 runs in 36 balls and hitted three 4s and one 6s. Sharma also helped a lot team to win game and he scored 35 runs in 27 balls and hitted four 4s and one 6s.
Sad to see the decline from Kenya. They used to be one of the top associate nations, and back in 2003 World Cup they even managed to qualify for the semi-finals (an achievement that none of the associate nations have been able to replicate till now). But due to the lack of support from the ICC, cricket in Kenya gradually died down. Now it is mostly played by the expats with hardly 1-2 players of African extraction in the playing XI. And given this, it was not very surprising to see them losing against the vastly superior United Arab Emirates.
