Lol. But frankly, people dont realize that Shara sees everything with his funny looking eye. Btw you remember how we had talks, that due to eye he wont be fighting anymore in UFC? I have said, that the eyes is not such a big problem, but athletic commission might now allow to compete anyway, so he would fight outside US. Now he is fighting in Vegas. Both theories have failed
It makes sense why champion like Merab mostly fights in Vegas even if not always for title defense because there are three big reasons which you already mentioned first is lower taxes for fighters in Nevada and second is Nevada Athletic Commission makes it easier to get approval for fights and third is Vegas is best place for entertainment which means more fans come leading to higher earnings from ticket and pay per view sales for champions.
I have googled Nevada income tax (I suppose that is what fighters pay) and everything became clear: "No State Income Tax on Individuals: Nevada residents do not pay state tax on income earned from salaries, wages, or similar compensation". So everything you earn - its yours (minus team expenses).
Australian income tax is a killer for fighters
If you are champ and earn more than 190k, you will have to give half (45% actually) as a tax.
