This is exactly what am talking about. The high expectations from the fans just as you have raised yours to 20 goals from him in his first season. We forget that the EPL is a different league altogether and majorly above the competition Gyokeres was playing in sporting. Well, it will be record breaking if Gyokeres can help the team win the EPL next season by delivering on goals in every games as Erling Haaland has done for Manchester city.
You shouldn't blame Arsenal fans if they are expecting so many goals from Gyokeres next season because the hype on Gyokeres is too much, and Arsenal fans are expecting him to live up to their expectations. Arsenal is a club that's good at set pieces, and they always create a lot of chances for their strikers, so I believe if Gyokeres is clinical in his finishing, he can be able to score 20 goals for Arsenal next season.
No just only in football, also in every aspect of life, because to who much is given, much is also expected as the popular saying goes.
Victor Gyokeres knows that he was signed for a huge amount of money so expectations are high, so he can afford to flop, and if you look at this arsenal side under Mikel arteta you will understand that this season is a make or break season for him, he has to win something or else he will lose his job, and one of the factors that makes it even worse was how Enzo mascara has transformed Chelsea just under a year, I am quite positive that this is the major reason Mikel arteta was given all he ask for so that he wouldn't have an excuse if arsenal wins nothing.
As for Gyokeres, I am positive that he is going to bang in the goals if he can adapt very fast before the pressure gets to him, but nothing should be ruled out entirely because anything can happen.
