Re: How quickly do you forget a loss

Of course, it doesn't happen instantly or in a single day. However, I manage to forget it and move on to the next bets without thinking about the previous losses. And I did it for the sake of not getting distracted by the past. Because I believe that the more I think about it, the more I become desperate, and I don't want to get into that situation.

Besides, all I know is to enjoy gambling, and I am also aware that losing is going to happen even though we don't want it.

If the loss is quite significant, definitely, it is hard to forget as I will have the phase of blaming myself for not stopping soon. But if it is small, I can easily move forward. It means, on my end, it depends on how much we are talking about here. So for me, the amount is determinant on how I can easily move on or not.

I could agree with that, and I could understand those gamblers who spend too much, especially those who borrowed money. But because I was just spending a small amount, that was easier for me. I used not to take gambling seriously, and I value my hard-earned money.

That is how important it is to stick to our limit. Overspending doesn't just give us desperate emotions when we lose, but it also affects our mental health. Many gamblers never find themselves happy even if they win because they are still recovering their losses. Gambling now is stressful for the majority.
