There is no 'body positivity', 'fat acceptance ' or anything of the sort in my community and I have not heard of any in my country, I however think that it is a good initiative depending on the purpose and goals of their creation. I support such initiatives if the their aims are to give voice to the obesse in our societies, to address stigmatization of fat people and to make people in those sizes not to feel inferior and ashamed. But if the creation of such groups are to flaunt themselves like ' I'm fat and proud ' to make people feel like it is a good thing to be obsess, then I won't support their movements, some ignorant people might think that it is fashionable to be obsess. People should learn how to eat healthy diets more and exercise because there are lots of sicknesses that are associated with being very fat.
Is there any movement to change to be better? AFAIK the goal of any movement is to make other people accept or tolerate them.

LGBT movement, they're not encourage themselves to change to be heterosexual.
HIV movement, they're suggesting people to wear condom and take PrEP before having sex instead of not having sex at all.

Fat movement is the same, they're asking people to accept fat people who stay fat.

Quote
People should never shame and bully fat people because most of them are not happy with their physical appearances.
If they're not happy, then change. Fat is possible to change, it's not a fate.

Better to have short movement, height can't be change and people are bullying short men.
