I'm curious, did they ever tell if they gave a warning to their gamblers regarding that particular promotion? I mean, a company that big should have at least given their users a notification of some kind that a particular promotion is experiencing a technical issue, and if they didn't, the least they could have done is to credit the progress you would have made with the wager you did during the time the promotion is having an issue.
Exactly, that’s what’s frustrating about this.
No warning. No notification. Nothing.
I had no idea the promotion wasn’t working until I noticed my level progress wasn’t moving like it should’ve. And by that point, I had already wagered over $95,000.
For a company as big and well-funded as Stake, you'd expect at least an email or message saying:
"Hey, the 1.2x wager promo is currently down — don’t rely on it until further notice."
It’s just disappointing that they admitted the issue but left players like me to take the loss anyway.
