I'm making this post as a light Atalanta fan after learning a few days ago that Mateo Retegui has decided to leave for Saudi Arabia to get more money.

I don't want to generalise but I think that money, seen as an end, as a good, is the ruin

Money is useful, let's be clear, it is useful for everyone but to think that it is the goal to be pursued by overlooking people or honor and loyalty is something squalid
What do you think about football?
You are wearing a signature now because you will get paid, Retegui like many players work for themselves and their family, many players comes for impoverished family without hope except for football so they don’t just play for passion they play carry the weight of their family survival on their shoulders.
Footballers knows their time playing football ticks very fast and if they get broke we would criticize them. Retegui is not commenting any crime going to Saudi Arabia to go after money, as much as he wants to play in Europe but no European club is willing to give him close to what he will earn at Saudi Arabia and we will have to respect every decision a footballer makes.
