Real Madrid definitely suffered (not financially haha) because of the Club World Cup - Bellingham could have had shoulder surgery right after the end of the season, but he postponed it until after the Club World Cup, so he will miss the beginning of the season and that will be a significant number of games. Bellingham is a key player for Real so it is very painful - first they have to assemble a team without him, then rebuild again.
Yeah that injury is really serious. 
Bellingham is expected to be out for 3 months even though it says "unknown" on Transfermarkt. 
I wonder whether Xabi Alonso is thinking of making a signing for his position...
We should consider spending that much money, for an injury, causes it to be a lot different. We need to focus on how to get better without him. Real Madrid can't keep on spending money, or they will become like Barcelona, they need to just wait it out, and hope he comes back quickly, before any of the big games start at UCL.
