Every loss teaches us something, so I try not to forget at all.

That said, I always gamble very little. To some of you who don't earn much money, losing $50 might be a big deal, but always try to compare the loss to something like your monthly income, or your total money in the bank, or the amount of money you have to spend on bills every month. If the loss is like 1% of that or less, there's really nothing to worry about. You took your chance and that's it. Could have been +$50 now you're down. No pizza party this weekend LOL.
