I'm making this post as a light Atalanta fan after learning a few days ago that Mateo Retegui has decided to leave for Saudi Arabia to get more money.

I don't want to generalise but I think that money, seen as an end, as a good, is the ruin

Money is useful, let's be clear, it is useful for everyone but to think that it is the goal to be pursued by overlooking people or honor and loyalty is something squalid
What do you think about football?
Most footballers don’t chase dream anymore, they are all after money. I can’t single out any player that isn’t playing for money, it’s either they are in the right place they are getting what they all wanted or they will make move to any club that will pay them their desire amount of money.

Since players from European teams started joining the Saudi Arabia league, you can see how many players has left Europe to join them there because they are paying well. They are using money to influence the players and these players are after the money this days.

Generally, from the performance Al Hilal displayed in the FIFA Club World Cup, they are improving really well, and deserve a spot in the Champions League because they are doing better than some European teams right now.
