and let's remember that the base of every team is from the midfielder, he is the one who gives play , opens it and helps to defend and Modric has it clear, for me the best Italian midfielder.
Are you suggesting that Modric will start regularly then? It sounds unbelievable that he starts every game considering his age. I can see him mentoring players on the training ground or helping from the bench now and then. I guess you don't think age is a huge issue, judging from your previous comment, although I'm not sure he has the strength to keep running if he hits 50 or 60 years old.
