I'm making this post as a light Atalanta fan after learning a few days ago that Mateo Retegui has decided to leave for Saudi Arabia to get more money.
I don't want to generalise but I think that money, seen as an end, as a good, is the ruin
Money is useful, let's be clear, it is useful for everyone but to think that it is the goal to be pursued by overlooking people or honor and loyalty is something squalid
What do you think about football?
Gone are the days when football used to be played for fun and entertainment. Currently, football is now one of the biggest business with big profits. So, I wouldn't blame any player that goes down that path. However, every player have to decide what they want for themselves whether it's making name and winning trophies in Europe or going to SPL to make more money. What matters most is that they're still in the game.
