Some say it's politically motivated retaliation, while others believe it's a way to economically target a country that, under its current government, has been favoring dictatorships and communists, attacking freedom of expression, and going after American companies, especially those in the tech sector. We have brains, not just any brains but functional brains that we can tell for ourselves when a decision is politically or economically motivated. Following the international trends on global economies we all have a clear cut of an understanding to why Trump's decision of a 50% tariff on Brazil is declared. It is not for economical purposes of any order but purely political which is drawn from the role Brazil plays as a BRICS member.
