Juventus cannot afford a transfer of this magnitude due to financial problems. Napoli could only earn a high income by sending Osimhen abroad and that transfer was made by a surprise team, Galatasaray. Clubs in Turkey are not doing well economically, but Galatasaray mobilized everything for Osimhen. Osimhen will be the new Hagi of Galatasaray. Napoli didn't want to sell a big star directly to their arch rivals. Therefore, Osimhen not going to Juventus was a logical outcome both in terms of relations between the clubs and the player's career planning.
Moreover, the transfer contract for Osimhen states that for the next two seasons he is not allowed, according to the agreement, to move to any Serie A clubs. That’s how thoroughly Napoli plans to prevent their Serie A rivals from strengthening at their expense. Yes, Galatasaray was very eager to sign Osimhen. I can see that they are also working on signing other players, such as Ederson from City.

It’s possible that Galatasaray could become a very strong and competitive team in Europe thanks to this kind of policy. But for now, it seems to me like they’re going all in, they’re making big expenditures and hoping for big results. But what if their expectations aren’t met? Then it would just be massive spending. And how capable is the team of handling such financial pressure right now? That’s also unclear at this point.
