Yeah life is very important, just like they say Health is wealth. But the reason why most folk did not invested in bitcoin back then (2017) is because most was not familiar with it or have no information about it then , imagine I had the knowledge I have now I would have done myself a favor then and invest in bitcoin, maybe by now I would be saying all the struggle then actually worth it due to bitcoin amazing performance in the past years .
But the good thing is that more opportunity is yet to come , and I will be ready to grab them , death is certain but how you live your life is what counts , so be humble and be nice and live your life the best way you can .
I think you're right about why most people didn't invest in Bitcoin at the time. However, it's also important to note that there's another reason behind it: skepticism. Personally, I've felt that way about Bitcoin. However, when someone unfamiliar or skeptical tries to learn about Bitcoin, I'm sure they'll see it differently and ultimately believe in it. This is similar to what people who are familiar with or involved with Bitcoin feel today, I think, including the people on this forum.
However, we have a lot to learn from the past, including how to make the most of opportunities, and this includes living life to the fullest, as you said. Beyond that, I've personally started investing in Bitcoin now (even if only little by little). I don't care what people say about its value or price being too high, because I feel we're still in the early stages, and holding it long-term will be a different story.
