Ruben Amorim is really trying his best in the transfer window to strengthen Manchester United's squad so that Manchester United can be able to compete in the Premier League next season, but Manchester United's financial problem is limiting Ruben Amorim from going for a quality striker that will be reliable and help Manchester United to win matches and compete in the Premier League next season. Manchester United has ruled out any possible move for Jackson and Sesko, and as it stands now, nobody knows the striker Manchester United is going to sign this season.
Ofcourse he's, he mean well for the club and the board in return have to fully support him to achieve success next season cause it would be very shameful if they finish below 6th position, Amorim really tried in luring Cunha and Mbeumo to the club and from the transfer news I've come across it seems he's still looking for a box to box midfielder, Striker and Goalkeeper, even though he doesn't sign a midfielder the board should do everything possible to sign a Goalkeeper and a striker but I don't think they should go for Jackson, Sesko or any other option would be better,Jackson is not a striker to rely on he'll be worst than Hodjlund.
You just stated it all, the Major departments that needs reinforcement is that goalkeeper and the lead striker positions, though the midfield also needs but they can manage that. And not just an average striker, they need a good quality striker not the likes of Jackson or Sesko cause they’re all in same level with Holjund and Zirkzee. Signing Jackson or Sesko will yield same results, the board has to support Amorim to get a better striker so when he doesn’t do well next season, there’ll not be an excuse and he can use the opportunity to showcase himself in the premier league cos what we saw at the last season was so terrible.
