On the third day today, England did not lose any wickets in the first session, meaning England is in a very good position. At the end of the first session, England are trailing by 26 runs and if England can bat for two more sessions today, they will definitely give England a lead of around 300 runs. If England give up a lead of more than 250 runs, then it will definitely be very tough for India to draw the match after batting for two days with wickets intact.

England are very well positioned in this match before the lunch on day 03. However soon after lunch they lost Ollie Pope and Harry Brook. Are we going to see another twist in this match ?

Joe Root is still there on 76 runs and he along with Ben Stokes (who just came to bat), had to bat well so that England can get at least 150 lead. Remember that the longer the English batsmen can bat in this innings, the chances for them to lose become minimal. They can win this match too if they can bowl India out quickly in the 2nd innings.
England has already given up a lead of 100 runs, meaning England still has six wickets to spare, meaning if England can bat well in the third session, they will definitely give up a lead of over 200 runs. It is very likely that India will lose this Test because it will not be possible for India to bat for two days in the second innings in this Test. Moreover, if India's top order batsmen cannot build a long partnership, then the match must be played because in this Test, these two batsmen, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, did not perform very well in the first innings, due to which India was all out for 358 runs in the first innings. Being all out for 358 runs means that India played much worse than England, which is very easy to understand by looking at England's batting.
