Manchester United made it known that they will not be going for Jackson and Sesko this season. The striker Manchester United should go for is Isak because he's Premier League proven and he's good at finishing, but signing Isak from Newcastle United will cost Manchester United a lot of money, and Manchester United can't afford to risk such an amount of money to sign Isak from Newcastle United this season.
Let's be honest with ourselves. There's no way Manchester United can sign Alexander Isak because of his hefty price tag. They're still hoping to get money from the sales of outgoings which is far from happening right now. The striker I think they can sign this summer is Ollie Watkins. His market valuation is around €40 million euros. But again, I'm not sure if Aston Villa would want to part ways with him.
With Liverpool's €120 offer for Isak still rejected by Newcastle let alone Man United offering below that possibility it will not be looked at again --- the problem is Isak has become part of Newcastle's plans for next season so will not be sold even with a high offer.
Ollie Watkins is not a reliable striker because for several seasons it is still difficult to develop but it is not sure that Man United will be interested in him.
There's a story on the media hdug days Isak has informed Newcastle United his intentions to leave the team this summer and is ready to join a new team that will offer him a better contract. €150 could be what Newcastle United is expecting Liverpool to drop before they could think of selling the play because they can get another player for his replacement for a lesser amount, Liverpool should increase the money and Newcastle will be moved to sell him.
