It's important to note that as a new convert you are exposed to new hard-to-believe faith-testing reality, and need a stronger body to handle it. True baptism renews the body and makes it very strong to be bear with the new reality.
MESSIAH Says: "no one puts new wine into old bottle; or else the new wine bursts the bottle, the wine is spilled, and the bottle are ruined. But new wine must be put into new bottle and both are preserved”
