Alcohol addiction can indeed have more disastrous consequences and implications than gambling addictions, and the fact that alcohol influence can make people do stupid things that they may not even be entirely aware of is even more scarier.
The worst situation someone can find themselve is if they are alcohol addicts and same time gambling addicts. When they are drunk, the intoxication will push them to use all their money to gamble and when they do so, they can realize their mistake when they finally regain consciousness and because they made a big mistake, they can feel depressed and still go back to drinking so that they can forget their sorrow according to the statement some drunkers make. Both addiction is very disastrous.
