Do you notice that so many people are into content creation these days? Everyone is always filming something and posting it in hopes of gaining views, likes and followers. Once they have enough audience, they can start earning from their page and this is what is their biggest motivator. There are people who have day jobs that don't pay enough so they try their luck in content creation.
Now, I am seeing many more kids just get into it right away instead of trying to find other traditional jobs. The older generation do not even consider this a real job. But do you think, as lucrative the industry is, will it survive? Will it continue to be a good source of income? If you are struggling financially, have you ever considered content creation? Does content creation offer anything to the economy?
Ideas is what content is all about together with a trend. If you want views, you have to do something to go viral and it's not everyone that has these talents or maybe smart enough to create these things. In addition, if we are going to be honest with one another, contents creation isn't easy, you need to either be loyal to some people or pay some people to get more audience, look at what content creators are doing on Twitch, it's so competitive to get viewers and subscribers.
Take a look at what Kai and Ishowspeed are doing today, it took speed many years of loyalty to be Ronaldo fan before he got to where he is today. He was looking for Ronaldo face for years before he later met him. Even if you want to do IT contents like reviews and other things, you need sponsors and partnerships to make money, without it any of this you wouldn't stay relevant for long except if you want start selling things through your contents, this is why I think many people are not giving it a shot.
