Did happened to someone else to deposit on wrong network, because is now nearly one year and they had no news. The depo was of 200$ (usually I buy from moonpay and normally the 1st network is the etherum not the arbitrum but in that case seem was arbitrum so I don't mind was my mistake), but they asking 200$ fee to get a 200$ depo so it doesn't make much sense... is about 4 days of work losed. Also what I don't understand at all is why it is a multichain portofoglio if they allow just etherum network? I also tried to say to the support, i agree to pay 50-100$ to get the other moved to my balance but still no response !
I see two reason on why they ask that amount for funds recovery.
First is recovery needs effort and time especially that their wallet used is not configure for the network on where you sent your funds.
Second is to discourage people to commit mistake on sending their funds on wrong network since they might think about the consequences of what possible to happen if they made this mistake.
I also send my funds on wrong network before on other platform. Then try to contact their support for possible recovery but they just said that they didn't support that network that's why its close to impossible for them to recover the funds I wrongly sent. So I'd move on in that chapter and make sure that I won't sent on wrong network again. Yeah its costly mistake and we need to learn a lesson in hard way with the incident we experience.
That "impossible" make non-sense at all, you better complain about at a multichain portafoglio they can easily access it , there's no efforts at least (I doubt you know how it work since you write that). Point is to be a % in my opnion of the depo and not a fixed amount. Paying 200$ fee for 5 mins job is little crazy in my opinion obviously.
