For those that regular gamble with a huge amount like $50 - $100 and more, they knows their income source better than I do, if they didn't have so much to spend, they wouldn't gamble with such huge amount.
That’s not really a huge amount if you’re in a country where the minimum wage is at least $20 per hour. But in places where people barely earn $20 a day, gambling within that range is basically financial suicide. That’s exactly what they mean by “gambling more than you can afford to lose.” If this was in the Philippines, and someone is betting that much without actually earning it, chances are they’re already addicted, and sooner or later, they might even commit a crime just to feed the addiction.

Indeed, it will really be a bad financial mistake to gamble with such amount especially for someone living in a country where the minimum wage is not even up to that amount and also if they don't have a source of income that is generating a huge revenue for them that can cover that amount they are spending. Even my monthly allocation for gambling is not usually up to $50 except sometimes and sometimes too I can skip gambling for up to a month. For people that are really financial stable and has different source of income, it's easy for them to gamble like that.
