Don’t you think that Real Madrid should stop signing midfielders and focus on making their defensive line solid? Their main weak point at this moment is the defense because that’s where PSG used to penetrate them, which led to the number of goals being scored. Almost all their defenders, excluding the new signings, are out of form and can’t even get guaranteed starting positions in many clubs in Europe; therefore, instead of wasting more money on signing midfielders, I think a central defender will be better for them right now, and maybe a defensive midfielder if they have to sign so that Jude Bellingham will have some rest sometimes or support when the need arises.

I disagree. What Madrid needs most right now are midfielders. The midfielders they have right now are good, but they won't be able to do their jobs without the right profile to complement them in midfield.
If I were Madrid, I would sign two midfielders, even if it means breaking the bank to sign them. They need a defensive midfielder like Rodri, and they also need a central midfielder who will be a controller like Kroos. It is because they lacked these profiles in midfield that PSG were able to exploit them so easily. No matter how good your defence is, if your midfield is not solid, the defence will suffer like Madrid did.
They need midfielders who can press to win back the ball and control the game.

If Real Madrid didn’t sign central backs before the end of this transfer window, they might still go without trophy next season because Barcelona might take everything in the Spanish side and they can’t compete against the likes of Manchester City, PSG, and others in the Champions next season.

Madrid has Dean Hujsen and Rudiger as solid defenders; they also have Militao as a backup, even though he's no longer as solid as he used to be. Madrid will be fine without adding a CB if only they sign midfielders, but if they don't, they will suffer. I read reports that they wanted Konate. He will be a level raiser to their defence if they get him.

Real Madrid's biggest problem is the mistakes of its defenders and the selfishness of its attackers. Recent matches have proven this to be true. While the team is striving to score goals and create chances, simple defensive errors sap the team's motivation. This was the case against PSG as well. Defenders can be good players individually, but being good individually isn't enough when they can't defend well as a team.

In football, if you don't trust your defense, it's very difficult to succeed, no matter how good your midfield and attacking line are.

The team is failing to score because of the selfishness of its attackers, and in many situations, when they should be passing, they fail to do so, and they do so constantly.
