Not admitting a gambling addition challenge only helps makes the gambler addict situation worse. However, getting to lose much more than one wins isn't really a thing of addiction though, because you can be gambling responsibly and still be making so much losses with predictions.
We must understand that there are gambler who aren't aware of addiction. So I'm not surprised if some gamblers don't admit that they are addicted. That's why the role of family members are needed here. They are the people who can remind the addicts!

Am knowing this for the first time that there are gamblers who don't know that addiction exists. Except for underage, if you're 18+ you should know about addiction in gambling because that's the reason for the warning from the gambling platforms about gambling responsibly to gamblers.
Gambling for fun could be helpful in preventing one self from falling into addiction though but you still have to apply some discipline on yourself because too much fun can be toxic too.
