Scammers are everywhere, there are a lot of them even in this forum, which is why I don't trust anyone on social media, especially when it comes to financial transactions. Sometimes you will receive direct phone calls from these scammers, which is the most annoying part to me, but what I did to avoid receiving their unnecessary calls  I downloaded Truecaller software on my phone, which usually displays their calls as scams that I don't border myself to pick.Telegram is a popular platform where I've encountered numerous scammers trying to discuss cryptocurrency via private messages. I've learned to recognize and block them instantly. Even people in your contact list, their accounts get hacked, and you can often spot this by looking at their profile, which might feature explicit content or unknown profile pictures.
