I completely agree with you. Many gamblers, after winning a large sum, begin to entertain the hope that they can win again in the near future, so they gamble not because they want to, but because they want to confirm their expectations. They don't even realize that their expectations may be unjustified. This creates the wrong attitude toward gambling, which ultimately only causes harm. You should gamble when you want to, not to prove something to yourself or get rich.
That's what usually gamblers look forward to happen again. Most of us trying to hit again those big win we've got from the games we played. Since we somehow think that those winning situation already happen to us and there's good chance that we could able to pull a good win again if we are consistently betting.
This is how many gamblers got caught and some of them fall from addiction especially that they start to abuse then spend huge to chase those winning moment they believe would come to them.
