What could Arne Slot and his Liverpool side be planning for next season? They already have Ekitike already signed and sealed bringing in Isak again is something else, the thought of it alone scares me lol. However Newcastle are still reluctant to let him leave even though Isak has indicated that he will like to try a new challenge elsewhere.
If you look at Liverpool transfers this season you might be scared of them next season by mere looking at the players they've signed. But most times it's not always like that.

Liverpool signed Ekitike who is not yet EPL proven, but Isak is a goal machine. The idea of also signing Rodrygo if he leaves Real Madrid is one to also consider. Their plan is to dominate the EPL for the next 5 years with the players they are willing to sign.
The Premier League has 38 matches, so there's no need to overstate the fearsome Liverpool squad. I mean no matter how consistent Liverpool are they'll inevitably have their weakest. As a Liverpool supporter, I remain rational and understand that anything can happen, no matter how strong your squad is. Even in the Premier League we often see the strongest teams lose to underdogs.
The season is a long one, and consistency is crucial for all teams until the end. That's why every team builds a balanced squad so that player rotation doesn't significantly impact team performance, and more importantly, to maintain consistency.

Liverpool haven't made many changes, and while some of the changes have made many pessimistic, I think that's partly due to their success last season, which suggests the team is already strong enough. I think Arne Slot knows what the team needs best, especially since he was quite successful in improving the team's performance in his first season, so there's a chance it could be even better next season.
