Boxing events like that are entertainment to raise money. The promoters will make money, and both parties will also get paid according to the agreed contract. Betting on such events is just for fun. But I wouldn't do it. Even when a senior retired boxer returns to the ring to accept a challenge from a young boxer, I would only see it as entertainment, even though both are professionals.
