The Trump administration offers new way for Americans to donate their funds towards reducing the national debt.
Such program existed from before and a few millions have been donated in the last 25 years. But the debt is up to the trillions.

The US administration offers a way for Americans to donate for the government which is busy spending huge budgets in financing terrorism arround the world. The Americans are invited to donate in order to reduce national debt, but what about the important options of stop financing conflicts and wars. The aid given to Ukraine solely can cover a large part of the called National Debt, without to mention billions of dollars given every year to Israel.
If I were an American citizen, i wouldn't definetly pay a single penny to help my goverment continue horrify the world.
The government will know if their citizens will indeed patronize this kind of move by how much they can collect in this initiative. They are one of the largest spenders, so they should know where to get their money as well as how to save money. In my opinion, they don't need to get that money from its people but maybe put more taxes from those stakeholders that they need to tax more.
I believe there are other ways how to raise that money, but for now, that's what they are seeing as an immediate step. And we will see if it is effective or not. But the government should think of more sustainable actions how to address such debts.
The most important step to reduce national debt is to reduce governmental spending, which most of it goes to military and foreign aids. American people never asked their administration to make a war, as we saw USA lost all wars since WWII. A big war in Irak for almost nothing compared to the cost. A parallel war in Afghanistan for nothing, just killing people from both sides. USA spend the money from the federal reserve which is the money collected from taxpayers to finance Israeli conflicts and to weaken its traditional competitors Russia and China. Then come ask USA citizens to donate to reduce the debt. Maybe Jews Lobbies can't pay more so it's up for american people to do so by donations.
