It seems that Guardiola has finally found a replacement for Ederson, but decided not to buy a ready-made goalkeeper, but a young one with prospects for years to come. The length of the contract is not yet clear, but I think it will be at least five years, given the player's prospects.
They already broke over 150 million, getting close to 200, and they did spent a huge amount on last winter break. It's good that they are getitng a great goalkeeper, and he is very young too. This is still a kid, very young, I remember when I was at his age, I had no idea about anything, so he is very very young, but on top of that, he gained so much experience at the same time, which is rare to find for a big club.
And he didn't really screwed up during that period, I have seen his games, and he was fine, his highlights are better than he really is though, obviously his highlights are his "high" lights, so check games and goals he conceded, that makes more sense, and I believe he is decent enough to stay here for 10 years.
