So, I would suggest that you guys start creating stats monthly, like us, post them in your local thread, and then someone should quote the post where the stats are posted in the thread you've mentioned. This way, it will get bumped and stay updated with the latest data and stats about your local thread. 
Well, I kinda doubt if we are ready for a local board. We have seen different kinds of abuse/misuse in the past, and a lot of regular users left the local thread once they ranked up. If this continues to happen in the future, the local thread/board will remain inactive. I myself is not active enough on our local thread. But currently, I am the top poster of our local thread so far.
I want people to join in interesting discussions so we can share our thoughts as well. I tried a lot, to be honest. I gave my best to make our local thread active. But I failed for some reason. I will give it a try again, and probably I will come up with a application in the future.
