Ok, I understand hype about Hapoel
Well, I honestly don't. Even if they sign Misic, who is a step above in quality than all the others on their roster, I don't see anything to convince me about putting them among the contenders. Both Oturu and Bryant are good players, but neither is someone who will take the team to the next level. Same goes for the rest of Itoudis team.
Now I have most questions about Fenerbahche and Barcelona rosters. Fener lost many key players and don't have big signings, while Barca IMO is signing too many veterans and they left coach that failed last season.
Both of them depend on their soccer teams and their management as a whole, and since both of them have serious financial issues, it's logical not to spend too much money on their basketball departments. Barcelona seems to choose experience and retains a coach who can handle such players. We will see if their strategy will be proven successful. In any case, they will not be an easy opponent for any Euroleague team.
By the way, I am surprised you didn't mention the signing of Maodo Lo to your Lithuanian powerhouse Zalgiris. Sure, he is not that big of a name but he is a very solid point guard and occasionally shows flashed of what he is capable of. I especially loved him in the German nationl team. His handles are top notch and he has good skills for sure.
Indeed, Maodo Lo is a solid guard and he always best when he plays for the German national team. He isn't a "star" guard; however, he can be a serious piece for any team's system. It will be interesting to see how he will be used in Zalgiris and what his role will be on the team.
